Bonnie Shelton

Coach

Bonnie Shelton is a retired physician. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She then completed her general surgical residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL and opened a private surgical practice in Naples, FL. She put her career on pause to raise her two children and then returned to medicine as an attending physician in a skilled nursing facility in Virginia. Bonnie is now a blogger, writer, and health educator with a passion for empowering people to live well.

Bonnie discovered Osteostrong a few years ago when reading Tony Robbins’ book Life Force. At the time, there were no Osteostrong Centers in South Carolina. When she heard that a center was opening in Bluffton she contacted the facility and was excited to learn that they were going to be hiring coaches! She has been working as a coach since opening. Bonnie’s favorite part about being a coach is the one on one time she has with each client and seeing them improve their strength, balance and posture.
